Number 7: ‘The Hot Tub’
This time around, Jerry and Elaine are at cross purposes, even with the same goal. Elaine is bringing in Jean-Paul, a runner from the Caribbean, who is competing in the New York Marathon. Infamously, Jean-Paul missed the Olympic marathon because of an alarm issue. Jerry doesn’t think Elaine is serious enough about making sure Jean-Paul makes it to the race, but then Jerry’s neuroses threaten to get in the way as well.
Then, there’s the hot tub. Kramer decides to get a hot tub and keeps it in his living room. Oh, the soaks you can get. The soak of the year!
Then, the power goes out, and Kramer basically freezes himself. Michael Richards’ physical comedy is stellar in “The Hot Tub.”
