Number 8: ‘The Wait Out’
Now this is some classic Seinfeld: What makes Seinfeld sing is how awful the main characters are, and how unapologetic the show is about that (without delving into the quasi-shock comedy of It’s Always Sunny, a very good show that isn’t as strong as Seinfeld).
There is a couple, David and Beth. Jerry is into Beth and Elaine is into David, so they are both “waiting out” that relationship. When it hits the rocks, they conspire as to how they can start finagling their way to the front of the line, relationship wise, without being obvious about it.
Everybody is firing on all cylinders here, including Kramer can’t get a pair of jeans off.
