Number 11: ‘The Limo’

NBC

“The Limo” only has one story, atypical for Seinfeld. It’s also a sterling example of a frequent style of plotting for the show.

A character or characters, in this case Jerry and George, commit a minor social faux pas. In this instance, George claims to be a guy named O’Brien so he and Jerry can take his limo from the airport, as Jerry knows the real O’Brien is stuck back in Chicago.

What they don’t know is that O’Brien is a neo-Nazi who was coming to town to make a speech. Also, two of O’Brien’s acolytes, who have never met the recluse, will be joining them. Suddenly, George and Jerry are in a precarious situation, and of course George is still taken by one of O’Brien’s followers, Eva, who he considers “kind of a cute Nazi.”
