Interestingly enough, Rian Johnson shot The Last Jedi on a mix of film and digital. For Solo: A Star Wars Story, Bradford Young used his trademark low-light cinematography, shot digitally on the Alexa 65. The film sparked debate about the state of theater projectors and their bulbs.
