Set in 1971, the film follows the true story of journalists at The Washington Post and their attempts to publish the Pentagon Papers, a set of classified documents detailing the U.S. government’s involvement in the Vietnam War and the French Indochina war. Directed by Steven Spielberg and written by Liz Hannah and Josh Singer, The Post stars Meryl Streep, Tom Hanks, Sarah Paulson, and Bob Odenkirk.
