Sleepless in Seatle (1993)
In this Nora Ephron classic rom-com, Meg Ryan stars as a journalist who falls in love with a recently-widowed architect played by Tom Hanks. Even though Ryan’s character just got engaged to another man, she can’t help but fall for Hanks when she hears his son call into a talk radio show looking for a girlfriend for his father after the death of his mother. As you well know if you’ve seen he movie, the whole thing results in an absolutely unforgettable scene atop the Empire State Building in New York City.
