A Private War (2018)
Another true story based on a Vanity Fair article, A Private War stars Rosamund Pike as real-life American journalist Marie Colvin, who travels to some of the world’s most dangerous countries in order to report on their civil wars for The Sunday Times. After losing her eye in the field, Colvin continues to chase war stories. She was ultimately killed in 2012 when she was caught in the crossfire of a conflict in Homs, Syria. The film also stars Jamie Dornan, Nikki Amuka-Bird, Tom Hollander, and Stanley Tucci.
