The Last Letter From Your Lover (2021)
Based on Jojo Moyes’ 2012 novel of the same name, Netflix’s The Last Letter From Your Lover stars our Summer 2021 cover star Felicity Jones as Ellie, a London journalist who discovers decades-old love letter in the newspaper’s archives between a “J” and “Boot.” In the film, a flashback to the 1960s tells the story of the love affair that Ellie devotes herself to uncovering the truth about. Shailene Woodley plays Jennifer Stirling, or “J”, an Callum Turner plays Anthony O’Hare, or “Boot,” Jennifer’s lover. Joe Alwyn plays Jennifer’s stern businessman husband, Laurence Stirling.
