The software program of choice for professional screenwriters, Final Draft has been hosting its Big Break Screenwriting Contest for 20 years.
Its wide-ranging genres include Action/Adventure, Comedy/Rom-Com, Family/ Animated, and Period/Historical/War. Three TV winners are selected from Half-Hour Pilot, Hour-Long Pilot, and Diversity Pilot scripts.
Judges are movers and shakers in the industry and include manager Jewerl Ross who represents Academy Award-winner Barry Jenkins, writer of Oscar darling Moonlight, and literary manager and producer Kailey Marsh, who created The BloodList in 2009 and worked as an assistant on unexpected behemoth Paranormal Activity.
Winners are showered with over $100,000 in cash and prizes. One Feature Grand Prize and one TV Grand Prize winner are chosen from the 11 Feature Genre and TV Format winners. They are then whisked to Hollywood for power meetings within the upper echelons.

FEES: $55-$75
PRIZES: $10,000 for the Grand Prize winners, a paid trip to Hollywood, script consultation, a screenwriting fellowship with The New York Film Academy, books, iPads, and handy software

I Want to know to "PITCH" my Screenplay online, saving money on travel to LA...NYC is closer to home, I would do that. I have two screenplays I'm working on right now...I feel that NETFLIX, FOX SEARCHLIGHT, and AMAZON STUDIOS, are my best platforms...for now...Any advice, help, support, are greatly appreciated! :D
