Who: Graduated from Michigan State University in 2007 with a B.A. in English. Was a high school teacher in Sacramento, California. Won the AFF 2017 Drama Screenplay award.
Biggest Lesson Learned: “First: Follow the rules, but don’t be afraid to break some. Second: The first draft of anything is shit. (Ernest Hemingway’s words, not mine.) Third: There’s truth to that whole ‘10,000 hours to master your craft’ thing.”
