Olga’s Death Scene in Suspiria (2018)
Luca Guadagnino’s 2018 homage to Dario Argento’s 1977 classic Suspiria follows Dakota Johnson as Susie, as an American dancer who comes to Berlin to study at a prestigious dance academy. Little does she know, it’s run by a coven of witches. When Olga (Elena Fokina) tries to flee the school after accusing the matrons of the school of killing her friend Patricia (Chloe Grace Moretz), she is trapped in a ballet room.
Meanwhile, Susie performs a dance that causes Olga’s limbs and bones throughout her body to be broken and contorted in horrifying angles while she’s forced through a back-breaking dance by an unseen force that ultimately kills her. This scene is really not for the faint of heart, but if you want to watch it, here it is.
