Nair’s early career is defined by her works in India, including Salaam Bombay! and Monsoon Wedding, both of which received worldwide critical acclaim. Thanks to her successes, Nair has frequently dabbled in mainstream moviemaking, with these works including Vanity Fair, Amelia and, most recently Queen of Katwe. Her sensibilities have effectively translated overseas, including her explorations of strong female characters and family dynamics. I think Wonder Woman succesfully reached the hype and that Patty Jenkins saved the DC movie franchise. It had a great storyline, unlike BvS(Martha!), stunning fight scenes, and overall depicted Wonder Woman the right way: Strong, brave, courageous, and somewhat innocent.
