With a budget of a little over $2 million, Nowhere Boy grossed $6 million and opened up opportunities for her career. She capitalized on this and signed on to direct Fifty Shades of Grey, based on the hit novel. I think Wonder Woman succesfully reached the hype and that Patty Jenkins saved the DC movie franchise. It had a great storyline, unlike BvS(Martha!), stunning fight scenes, and overall depicted Wonder Woman the right way: Strong, brave, courageous, and somewhat innocent.
