I’m still learning in each documentary I make. I learn about the people and how sometimes what we learn about them by being near them is not what we expected. People are full of surprises, and that’s what I’m learning. We need time to get to what is unique in everybody. That’s the lesson of life that I learn every day. I’m about to die but I’m still enjoying that.

Do you know of all the organizations that tried to push for a fighter union have there been, and how many still exist? Are they collaborating or competing with each other? Seems like these guys are farther along in the process than all other attempts. As an independent contractor myself, this is kind of interesting. I have no idea what the actual laws around independent contract work are, despite doing this for over 10 years ?
