I thought that you had your film when you write and when you shoot it, but I realized that you actually make three films: the one that you write, the film that you shoot, and lastly the film that you edit. The editing part was a huge revelation for me. In terms of acting in the film, since it took me so many years to get the financing for the film that at some point I thought, “Oh my God, I’m getting to old to play this role.”
