Ignore the fact that Armie Hammer is in this movie and just focus on our unproblematic fave Timothée Chalamet. This Luca Guadagnino movie follows 17-year-old Elio (Chalamet), who, while on vacation in Italy with his family, falls in love with 24-year-old grad student Oliver (Hammer). Who could forget that scene at the end of Elio crying silently as he stares into the fireplace? Haunting. You’ll think that scene is your own reflection staring back at you by the time you get through this tear-inducing movie.
These movie couples had obvious chemistry, whatever was happening offscreen.
