VCU’s Cinema Program prepares undergraduate students to become screenwriters, directors and producers through a Bachelor of Art degree with a rigorous liberal and fine arts emphasis. Narrative filmmaking with a classical focus on character and storytelling sets this program apart from most. Cinema majors can graduate after three years and two summers of intensive production workshops but are encouraged to earn a second major. International study options include the Cannes Film Festival and the VCU French Film Festival. Internships are available with international film organizations and production companies. http:www.vcu.edu/arts/cinema/dept Contact Program Director Rob Tregenza [email protected].
