Casablanca (1943)

Wait a minute — what could possibly be objectionable about this flawless film about heroic people making sacrifices to stop the Nazis? Absolutely nothing! This is one of the greatest films of all time.

But sadly, one of its stars, the charismatic Humphrey Bogart, was cancelled in 1957, and the radiant Ingrid Bergman suffered her own cancellation in 1982.

Without them, Casablanca just wouldn’t be the same. And so, sadly, senselessly, we must add it to this list of movies that could never be made today.
