Brokeback Mountain (2005)

Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger play Jack and Ennis, two cowboys who fall in love while working as sheep herders in Wyoming.

Both of them have wives at home, so they have to keep their affair a secret. Through years of fishing trips, they find a way to keep seeing each other — but they constantly risk the dangers of being found out.

The heartbreaking scene when Ennis finds him and Jack’s shirts nestled together will forever be burned into our minds.
