This movie isn’t slated to come out until July 2023, so we have a whole entire year to wait, assuming it doesn’t get delayed first, which is entirely possible in a post-pandemic world. The thirst for Barbie content is so strong that we have to make our own content to stretch what little has been leaked or released so far. We don’t have a trailer to go off of, just some (admittedly incredible) set photos, so we have to get creative.
See Exhibit A above. It’s Kath Day-Knight (Jane Turner) and Kelvin “Kel” Knight (Graham Robbins) from the Australian TV show Kath & Kim, but gosh, don’t they have the same energy as Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie’s Barbie and Ken?
