Long before the slap heard round the world, this iconic duo met while Pinkett was auditioning for the role of Smith’s girlfriend on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1994. She didn’t get the role on account of being too short, according to Insider — she’s five feet tall and he’s six foot two — and Smith was married to Sheree Zampino at the time. But when they divorced in 1995, he soon began dating Jada Pinkett, and they got married in 1997, making her Jada Pinkett Smith. They have two children together: Jaden and Willow.
