Arnold Schwarzenegger in Terminator 2: Judgment Day

The first movie Schwarzenegger appeared in — 1970’s Hercules in New York — his lines were dubbed over by an American voice actor and his name was changed to Arnold Strong to make him seem less Austrian.

“It was not a hit at all. For five years there was no offer for anything. So there was a lot of things I had to learn, obstacles I had to overcome — including the biggest obstacle, when everyone says, ‘No, it can’t be done,'” Schwarzenegger says.

“Why didn’t you give up?” a member of the production team asks him.

“Well, because my vision didn’t talk about giving up,” he says. “My vision was climbing that mountain.”
