Mad Men
The main conflict is that Don Draper feels… a certain ennui. He’s rich, women love him, amazing suits, but something’s off. He stole a guy’s identity, yes, but the show is barely about that and it doesn’t turn out to be much of a problem. Anyway, there’s just this malaise he can’t put his finger on. What he can put his finger on: Doorknobs, without the slightest anxiety.
