Documentary filmmaking’s legendary Errol Morris is honored with a special tribute, honoring the icon whose work spans decades and includes such masterpieces such as The Thin Blue LineGates of Heaven, The Fog of War, and Tabloid. AFI Fest will also also be doing a special screening of Morris’ new series for Netflix, Wormwood, which Kneedler opines is, “formally innovative, daring and engrossing, Morris has woven a mystery for the audience that is impossible to look way from.”
