Rabbits Out Of Hats: Five Basic Steps to Improvisational Indie Moviemaking From White Rabbit Director Daryl Wein

What Is True > What Is “Good” or “Bad”

The greatest advice I can give at this stage in my career is to just go and do it. There is no need to second guess yourself and obsess over what is going to be the perfect script or film. If you think like that, there is always going to be something better out there that makes you feel bad about yourself. Moviemaking isn’t about “good” or “bad,” but about what is true to you, what gets you excited in the moment. That’s what is going to translate to the world. MM

White Rabbit premiered at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.
