It’s probably safe to assume that, if you’re visiting this site, you’re a fan of movies (and, we hope, of MovieMaker Magazine). How’d you like to intern for us? We are currently looking for interns for our fall internship program in New York City, and if you love movies and are a great writer, we want to hear from you.
Interns are primarily responsible for writing and editing content for MovieMaker Magazine and MovieMaker.com, as well as helping with research for upcoming articles and assisting with basic administrative tasks (well, it is an internship). Additional responsibilities include utilizing social networking platforms, including Twitter and Facebook, to promote and enhance MovieMaker’s online presence. All applicants must possess superior writing and editing skills as well as a meticulous attention to detail.
Basic Microsoft Office and Internet skills required; HTML and CMS skills a plus. Prospective applicants must be committed to working a minimum of 15 hours per week. Office hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The internship is unpaid, but college credit is available.

MovieMaker Magazine is owned by the publishing company Next Step Media, which also publishes Art Business News, a bimonthly magazine on the fine arts market. As such, MovieMaker interns will have the unique opportunity to work on all Next Step Media projects.
