directed by Harold Ramis

PG-13; 97 minues

When a couple of misfit cavemen with names that match their I.Q’s, Zed (Jack Black) and Oh (Michael Cera) are booted out of their village, they start out on their own, intending to see the world beyond. First they encounter Cain (David Cross) and Abel (Paul Rudd) in the midst of a disagreement (and we all know how that ends.) They also meet Abraham (Hank Azaria), who is just about to sacrifice his son Isaac (Christopher MIntz-Plasse). After they convince Abraham not to do it, Isaac takes them on a little trip to the fun town of Sodom, where they find the girls (Juno Temple, Olivia Wilde) from their village who have been taken into slavery. Cain, who is also there now as a guard, sells Zed and Oh into slavery as well. The drag queen High Priest (Oliver Platt) puts them into some weird and wacky situations until our dimwitted heroes finally prevail. Bill Hader’s cameo and outtakes during the closing credits are hysterical.

DVD Extras: Commentary with director Harold Ramis, Black and Cera; deleted/extended/alternate scenes; featurette; gag reel
