One of the most buzzed-about releases of the holiday movie season, John Cameron Mitchell’s Rabbit Hole, stars Nicole Kidman and Aaron Eckhart as a couple coping with the death of their young son. Many advance reviews predict that Kidman and Eckhart will receive Academy Award nominations for their powerhouse performances (they both just earned Spirit Award noms). Directed by the always-provocative Mitchell (Hedwig and the Angry Inch; Shortbus), Rabbit Hole will open in limited release on December 17, and will expand nationwide on January 14.
