This 2016 ESPN five-part documeries directed by Ezra Edelman is especially relevant now following O.J. Simpson’s death in April.

The doc covers his early life, from his childhood to his rise to fame — and, of course, his murder trial and ultimate acquittal for the death of his estranged wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman.

It also covers his 13 year prison sentence as a result of being convicted of robbery and kidnapping.
