Megamind continues its path toward world domination by racking up the top spot at the box office for the second week in a row, with a weekend gross of $30 million and a total gross so far of $89.7 million. Surely conquering Mars cannot be far behind. New release Unstoppable came in at number two ($23.5 million), while Due Date fell one spot to number three ($15.5 million weekend gross, $59 million total gross). Rounding out the top five were two new releases: Skyline came in at number four, grossing $11.6 million, and Morning Glory came in at number five with $9.6 million.

Other new releases were Cool It ($27,200) and Tiny Furniture ($21,600).

Next weekend sees the release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. Henceforth it should just be referred to as “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 Day”, though as that is a bit longer than “November 19th,” the name will probably not catch on. Also coming out on Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 Day are The Next Three Days and, in limited release, Made in Dagenham, Heartless, Nothing Personal, Queen of the Lot, Today’s Special and White Material.
