Samwise Gamgee and Frodo Baggins are such an iconic movie duo.

Played by Sean Astin, Samwise was there for Frodo (Elijah Wood) to support him throughout some of the most difficult parts of his hero’s journey. Sam makes an excellent side kick to Frodo’s main character energy, carrying him during moments when Frodo couldn’t go on alone.

What’s more important in friendship than laughter? Perhaps only loyalty, and Samwise and Frodo have both in spades.
