Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett in Bad Boys: Ride or Die

These guys are the poster children for buddy cop action comedies.
This month, Will Smith’s Mike Lowrey and Martin Lawrence’s Marcus Burnett returned for a fourth installment in the Bad Boys movie franchise with Bad Boys: Ride or Die. Following 2020’s Bad Boys For Life, this new installment is again directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. They took over from Michael Bay, who directed the original 1995 Bad Boys as well as 2003’s Bad Boys II.
In the new movie about the beloved Miami cops, Mike and Marcus go on a mission to clear their late police captain’s name after he’s posthumously linked to drug cartels. But as they try to defend the captain, they end up getting framed themselves — so they have to go on the run. Good thing they make such a great pair.
The original Bad Boys was full of explosions, stunt driving in cool cars, and witty banter between Mike and Marcus. Bad Boys: Ride or Die has all that — plus some cool airplane scenes. If you’re a fan of action and comedy, its hard not to love this iconic movie duo.
