On Adapting the Italian giallo Form in Amer and The Strange Colour of Your Body’s Tears
We tried to work with colors the same way as in the giallo films. [Directors] Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani showed me of lot of those movies, and we grabbed some ideas from those and mixed them with our own sensibilities.
