The original Paranormal Activity is among the most iconic found-footage horror movies.

It follows a young couple who set up cameras around their house to document the supernatural entity they believe is haunting their home.

It’s incredible how successful this film became, spawning a series of seven total films, considering the original was made with only a $15,000 micro-budget before it was acquired by Paramount.

The way the security camera switches between rooms in the house is so creepy. This one will give you nightmares for sure.
