Hillary Clinton

Speaking of Hillary Clinton: The daughter of a Republican father and a Democratic mother, the 13-year-old Hillary Rodham canvassed for Richard Nixon in 1960. She was also a “Goldwater girl” in the 1964 presidential election, and was elected president of the Wellesley Young Republicans as a freshman the following year.

But she switched to the Democratic Party later in the 1960s, and hasn’t looked back, serving as a Democratic first lady and senator, then as President Obama’s secretary of state, before winning the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016 and losing the race to Donald Trump.

Why is she on a list of celebrities? Because she now executive produces the Apple TV+ series Gutsy (above) with her daughter, Chelsea Clinton.
