The Broadcast Film Critics Association (BFCA) announced the nominees for the 15th annual Critic’s Choice Awards. The nominees were selected by the 235 members of the BFCA and represent the best in cinematic achievement of films released in 2009. Inglourious Basterds and Nine topped the nominee list with a total of 10 nods each. Avatar, Up in the Air and The Hurt Locker each received eight nominations. The awards will be presented at the Critic’s Choice Movie Awards at The Hollywood Palladium on January 15, 2010. Kristen Chenoweth is set to host the event and VH1 will air the live broadcast at 9:00 p.m.
