The No Budget Film Festival champions filmmakers who display resourcefulness and the ability to create something out of nothing. The rule is simple: Use as little money to make your film as humanly possible. They want to challenge artists to look at the resources and tools available and make the most of them (short of starving your crew). This year, the festival takes place from November 21-23 at the Mack Sennett Studios in Los Angeles.
Shane Hurlbut, ASC has worked as director of photography on 19 feature films (such as The Greatest Game Ever Played, Terminator: Salvation, and Act of Valor) as well as hundreds of commercials and music videos.
