After more than 30 years, Tom Cruise will reprise his iconic role as Pete “Maverick” Mitchell in Top Gun: Maverick. Since the 1986 original, Cruise has became known for mind-boggling practical stunts. From the look of Top Gun: Maverick’s trailer, Cruise will be bringing his flair for dramatic physical feats to this sequel. Those who still feel the need for speed will not have long to wait: the film has been rescheduled for Dec. 23.
