Denver Film Festival

Denver, Colorado / October 31-November 11, 2018 / denverfilmfestival.denverfilm.org / S, V

Narrative, documentary, experimental, and even Italian moviemakers all vie for hefty cash prizes in their respective competition categories at Denver Film Festival, and travel, lodging, transport, and the promise of waived future submission fees await all feature directors upon acceptance. DFF’s 2017 run also saw the addition of a live script read with partner festival SeriesFest, a robust VR section, immersive theater events, and the Young Filmmakers’ Workshop. Plus, the festival’s Music on Film- Film on Music grant program provides $20,000 annually in finishing funds for U.S.-based doc productions that need music licensing, scoring, and composition. (Talk about a perfect score.)
