Just for the heck of it, why not mention some of the other many first-time Emmy nominees? There were 50 first-time Emmy nominees in total this year, according to Time, and among them was Jennifer Coolidge, who was nominated for outstanding supporting actress in a limited series or TV movie for her role in The White Lotus; Elle Fanning, who was nominated for outstanding actress in a comedy for The Great; Andrew Garfield, who was nominated for outstanding actor in a limited series or TV movie for Under the Banner of Heaven; Oscar Isaac, who was nominated for outstanding actor in a limited series or TV movie for his part in Scenes From A Marriage, and Lily James, who was nominated for outstanding actress in a limited series or TV movie for Pam & Tommy.
Tune into the Primetime Emmys on Sept. 12 on at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT on NBC. It will also be available to stream on Peacock.
