On the heels of yesterday’s announcement of the SAG Award nominees, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has today announced the nominations for the 69th annual Golden Globe Awards, taking place on January 15th, 2012 and being hosted for the second year running by Ricky Gervais. Leading in nominations is The Artist, which received nods in six categories, including Best Director, Best Actor – Comedy or Musical and Best Motion Picture – Comedy or Musical. The Descendants and The Help, with five nominations each, weren’t far behind. Moneyball, The Ides of March and Midnight in Paris each received four.
