Digital Film All Around You: Kodak PixPro

As a stalwart photo brand that traces its history back to the 1800s, Kodak has shifted its focus in recent years and shown how a photo stalwart could evolve, perhaps more than any other company at NAB 2018. Having surrendered the casual point-and-click market to smart phones, Kodak is setting its sights on the professional picture taker.

Their new PixPro series offers 360-degree SP360 4K VR cameras that deliver virtually stitchless uber 4K resolution for less than $1,000. The key to their technology is a dual lens that’s capable of taking hi-res keepers but also usable for instant uploading to YouTube.
