Dan Schneider in Netflix’s The Pharmacist

After a small-town Louisiana pharmacist Dan Schneider’s son is killed in a drug-related shooting, he devotes himself to finding his son’s killer. On his journey, he ends up exposing the corruption behind the opioid crisis.

The four-part docuseries covers Schneider’s upbringing and early life, his son Danny’s murder, the trial, and his pursuit of a doctor he suspects of running an opioid “pill mill.”

Then, Schneider begins looking into OxyContin maker Purdue Pharma.
