Was Todd a total sociopath?
Breaking Bad strongly implied, when Jesse Plemons’ Todd shot a tarantula-toting child named Drew, that Todd lacked anything resembling empathy. The show added to those suspicions when Todd spent months keeping Jesse like a pet, complete with cage.
But we learn the full extent of Todd’s sickness when we see in El Camino that he a) on at least one occasion used spit to comb the hair of his pet Jesse b) killed his cleaning lady on very dubious grounds c) sings along with Easy Listening while disposing of her body and d) kept Drew’s tarantula long, long after killing him.
Yes, Todd was a total sociopath.
