Ever wish you could get the film festival experience with just the touch of a button? Well, now you can, thanks to IFC Films and Austin’s South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Conference and Festival. The two have joined forces for an exciting, On Demand film festival experience unlike any other. Now, movie aficionados from New York to Los Angeles have the opportunity to take part in one of the most renowned film fests… without ever having to leave their living room.

Following last year’s partnership (which brought Joe Swanberg’s Alexander The Last national attention), this year’s roster offers festival and on-demand premieres of three new, buzzed-about movies, including the black comedy Lovers of Hate, the music industry satire Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee and the concert documentary The White Stripes Under Great Northern Lights. The films will be screening at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival, while simultaneously being available in 40 million homes (virtually all major U.S. markets) nationwide. The three films are all currently available On Demand (via cable’s Movies On Demand platform) and can be found in a special “SXSW” section of most major cable providers.
