In our final episode, MovieMaker sits down with director Liz Garcia of the much anticipated film, The Lifeguard. Garcia drew on her own experience for The Lifeguard, the story of a woman (Kristen Bell) on the doorstep of her thirties whose professional life in New York implodes. She retreats to her childhood home and takes up her adolescent occupation of lifeguarding. What follows is an illicit affair with a high school boy that threatens to upend the entire community.
