Slated to hit theaters on January 8th, Dimension Films is giving students at five colleges a shot at winning a private screening of Miguel Arteta’s upcoming Youth in Revolt, starring the versatile Michael Cera as an awkward teen who wants to lose his virginity. By logging onto eventful.com/youthinrevolt, students in five different markets—Boston, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle—can cast votes demanding that the screening take place at their school.

The universities that gross the highest number of votes in each city will get to host the screening. Additionally, the master of unfortunate interactions will make a special appearance at each event. Said Jordan Glazer, CEO of the company organizing this: “We love helping people discover, demand and share a wide variety of events ranging from music concerts and film releases to art gallery openings and wine tastings.”

Youth in Revolt is an adaptation of the C.D. Payne novel of the same name and, while on the surface, it sounds like the exact same thing as every other movie Cera has ever been in, it’s different. He plays the son of a divorced white trash couple (Steve Buscemi and Jean Smart) who has “a taste for the finer things in life like Sinatra and Fellini.” While on vacation, Cera’s character falls for the intellectual Sheeni Saunders (Portia Doubleday). She inspires him to develop an alter ego, the rebellious François, who gets him in trouble with the law. Zach Galifianakis and Justin Long appear in this coming-of-age comedy as well.
