Ryerson University’s School of Image Arts offers undergraduate programs leading to a BFA, in film, photography and new media. A new Master of Fine Arts in Documentary Media is set to begin in September 2007. The MFA is centred on production, drawing on Ryerson’s tradition of applied education and strong industry and alumni links in film, photography and new media. The curriculum provides for an understanding of the historical and contemporary theoretical framework that surrounds the ongoing development of documentary practices.
