Prague Film School provides intensive training in film-making (with options of specialization in directing/cinematography/post-production), animation, documentary and acting for film. Standard program length is one year. Semester and summer programs are offered as well. All programs are taught in English. Students come from all over the world, with backgrounds in film, design, acting, humanities and media. Programs are very intensive and practical; each students works on ~30 films per year, and shoots 4-6 films of his/her own. The school has ~60 students studying at the same time. Programs are accredited by the Czech Ministry of Education as professional training programs. Our programs are also recognized as affiliated study abroad programs by Oberlin, Vassar, Swarthmore and other colleges in the US.
