Since 1999, On Location Tours, Inc. has been providing movie buffs with the chance to visit locations from some of their favorite movies and TV shows throughout New York City. Tours include the New York TV and Movie Sites Tour (featuring sites from Ghostbusters and Enchanted) and the Central Park Movie Sites Tour (see locations from Independence Day and Love Story). In addition, the New York TV & Movie Classics Tour (www.screentours.com/classics) presents locations from classics from the 1950s through the 1980s, and features films as diverse as Taxi Driver and The Seven Year Itch. A Classics Tour celebrating the Oscars will take place on Sunday, March 7th at 12pm, and will feature sites from past Academy Award-winning films.

Also honoring the 2010 Oscars is Shot on This Spot; the event (a kick-off for the Shot on This Spot program) will take place on Wednesday, March 3rd at Planet Hollywood. Shot On This Spot will spotlight local stores, restaurants, and hotels that have been featured in film and on TV. Transportation will be provided for individuals who wish to visit any of the participating retailers, many of whom are offering discounts. Reservations are required; to RSVP visit http://www.screentours.com/shotonthisspot.php.

Visit http://www.screentours.com for more information, including prices, tour times and how to reserve a spot on any of their tours.
